The Town of Leader partnered with ASI Engineering to develop a multi-year plan to guide the Town through the replacement of its ageing water mains. Over several months, ASI worked closely with Town staff to assess current and historical operations, forecast future needs, and benchmark costs across Saskatchewan.
The resulting Water Main Renewal Plan not only met but exceeded Council’s expectations. With the plan now complete, Council is advancing to the next stage, which will be implementation.
This plan will pay a vital role in the Town’s efforts to secure provincial and federal infrastructure funding. It highlights both the community’s needs and its readiness to begin one of the largest infrastructure projects in Leader’s history.
Council looks forward to sharing this plan with residents and working together to strengthen our community’s water system for generations to come.
