Council is responsible for:
- Developing and evaluating policies, services and programs of the Town;
- Approving the annual budget;
- Maintaining the financial integrity of the municipality; and
- Establishing bylaws and policies that govern the Town of Leader.
Council meets the first and 3rd Tuesday of each month beginning at 7:00 pm. They are held in the Council Chambers at the Town Office Complex, 151 – 1st Street West. Council meetings are open to the public.
