Leader & District Tourism was officially established in 1993. This committee of local volunteers, work to promote the Leader area and to bring in tourists from all over the country and world. They are a member of the Cypress Hills – Grasslands Destination Area.
The committee was the driving force behind creating the Larger than Life Animal Sculptures that you will find throughout the town. In the past, they have planned bus tours to surrounding points of interest including the Great Sandhills, Checkerboard Hill and the Estuary Hutterite Colony.
Leader & District Tourism’s mission and vision statement is to welcome everyone to experience the small town warmth and friendliness that is our local communities.
