Riley Feiffer – Candidate for Councillor

Riley Feiffer
Tire Technician
Being born and raised in the Town of Leader has allowed me to gain a true passion for the success and betterment of the community. I have previously served as a Cypress Hills Grasslands EDA Board member, Global Vision Canada Ambassador, Saskatchewan Party Youth Board Member and a Leader Curling Club Executive Member. Currently I am a passionate Leader Lions Member of six years and a Leader Flyers Executive member of three years. My previous involvement in the community has given me the necessary skills to be a very powerful voice in the position of Councilor. If elected as councilor my three main goals are to implement a long term plan for the failing water and sewer infrastructure, an economical plan for the deteriorating roadways and sidewalks, as well as implementing a plan for the replacement of our aging arena. I have put my name forward as I believe I have the necessary knowledge and skills to help improve the community and continue making Leader a place where businesses thrive and an even better place to live. I wish all my fellow candidates the best of luck and ask for your support at the polls on November 13th!
Kind Regards,
Riley Feiffer

Tim Ryerson – Candidate for Councillor

Tim Ryerson
Semi-Retired/Motorcycle Mechanic
Hi, I’m Tim Ryerson. I am running for Town Council becuase I feel I have a contribution to make to the town I have called home since I purchased my house and shop in 2005. I have lived and worked in Leader on a permanent basis since 2012.
My partner, Annette and I are happy here and beleive Leader has a lot to offer but services and facilities all come at a price. That costs needs to be reasonable for the majority of residents. The ever-increasing cost of even basic supplies and services leave many people vulnerable and it is my view that Council has a responsibility to maintain and deliver essential services in a way that is manageable for everyone who lives here to the best of their ability.
Honesty, transparency and open lines of communication are my main goals in running for council. I would be honoured to represent the townspeople by being their voice of logic and reason.
